An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets to the AJP connector. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands as root and gain full control over the FMC REST APIs on the affected device.\r\nNote: This vulnerability can be exploited only if the valid sftunnel connection between Cisco Secure FMC Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software is down.","cvssScore":9,"cvssSeverity":"CRITICAL","cvssVector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","cwes":["CWE-285"],"vendors":[],"products":[],"references":[{"url":"https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-fmc2-multivulns-HXgcqRG","tags":[]}],"exploitRefs":[],"hasPoc":false,"ai":{"summary":"The flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit incorrect encryption parameter initialization, gaining root access and control over FMC REST APIs.","exploitability":"Exploitation requires a down valid sftunnel connection, making it moderately difficult.","blast_radius":"If exploited, attackers could gain full control over the FMC REST APIs, impacting device security significantly.","remediation":"Disable the AJP connector or upgrade to the latest version of Cisco Secure FMC Software.","detection":"No reliable host or network indicator is derivable from the published description.","tags":["rce","auth-bypass","web","api","critical"],"model":"qwen2.5:7b-instruct","analyzedAt":"2026-09-29T09:13:28.874Z"}}
